Presumably a modern reprint of an original photograph made by Bill Dungate. It was accessioned in September/October 2022.
Scope and Content
Photograph of seven children and two adults standing in a line in front of a large log cabin, probably in the Houston area. People identified from l-r as "Dad (George Dungate), Maisie, Kathleen, Willie, Gordon, Doll x Ted, Maude, Betty Silverthorne." (see Notes)
Notes
Maisie, Doll, and Ted were the children of George and Sicreal Amy Dungate; 'Willie' may be their son Bill Dungate. Betty Silverthorne is Elizabeth 'Betty' Winstanley, wife of Harold Silverthorne; she died in 1924. Surnames of other three children unknown (possibly Kathleen Carruthers and Maude Davies?).
