Custodial History
Photo was possibly taken by Bill Dungate in October 1941; negative was made later. They came into the possession of Dino Laramie sometime after Dungate's death and weredonated by him to the Museum at some point prior to 2020 (print) and on August 12th 2021 (neg). Both were accessioned in September/October 2022.

Appears to have been taken on the same hiking trip as P9856-P9857, which were found in envelope labelled "Negatives of Old Photos. The Dungates off to Fred Heading's and Betty beside cabin."
Tentative date of October 1941 comes from caption for P9857 on pg. 258 of Marks of a Century.
