- History / Biographical
- John Goold purchased the first Houston grocery store and post office from Frank Mosher in 1919. He built a new store (pictured here) on the south side of the railway tracks in 1927. The store was sold to Jan Koning in 1945, after which the Goolds moved to Topley. It was demolished by 1999, at which time an A&W stood on its former site.
