- History / Biographical
- The Ayliffe family lived in the North Bulkley area from 1913 to 1923, after which they moved to Vancouver Island. This photo seems to have been taken at least a decade after they left northern B.C.

- Negative taken by Bill Dungate of a photograph lent to him for reproduction. Donated to the Museum on August 12th 2021 by Dino Laramie.

- Mr. Ayliffe's first name is usually recorded as George, though he appears in the 1921 Census as "Ernest Gladstone Ayliffe."
