History / Biographical
Phyllis Cummins Davidson (1905-2003) was born in Cedar Point, Kansas and moved to British Columbia as an infant. She taught briefly at the Evelyn School in 1926 before marrying her husband Percy Davidson and having three children (Phyllis, Jim, Margaret), then returned to teaching from 1957 to 1972 at Muheim and Walnut Park Elementaries. She was also involved with community organizations including the BV District Hospital Auxiliary, the Red Cross, the Fall Fair Board, and the Senior Citizens’ Society.
