Description
A brown and grey colored rock formed in the shape of a coiled ammonite. The fossil has been fragmented and resembles one half of a doughnut. On one side the ribbing of the ammonite is evident, the other side is broken and irregular. It appears the rock has been glued together.

Description

History Of Use
This ammonite species is an index fossil for the upper Sinemuriza and lower Jurassic, Mesozoic era. It was found on a small island near Snowshoe Island, Babine Lake. It can be locally found in the Telkwa range.
