- Description
- A-Light-beige colored shale is triangular shaped with one third of fossil covered with a back section of fish. Distinct vertebrate and scales are noticeable in a darker color brown. Measurements include 12cm in length by 12.5cm wide and .5cm thick. B-Not located. C-Light-beige colored shale is rounded triangular shaped with half of fossil covered with a darker brown colored impression of the back part of a fish and tail. Measurements include 21cm in length by 12.5cm wide and .5cm thick. D-Smaller light-beige colored shale is triangular shaped with the tail portion of fossil covering most of this sample. Measurements include 13.5cm in length by 7cm wide and .5cm thick.
- History Of Use
- These two fossils from the Driftwood Creek are two halves and a mirror image of themselves. They feature three sections of a fish fossil that fit together. Fossil sample B has not been located. The three located pieces of the fossil fit together.
