- History Of Use
- A dispatch selector was situated in various railroad offices. i.e. Smithers, Terrace, or Pr. George. Each dispatch selector had a three digit code, thereby giving each office a code so they could be contacted. By having a three digit code an office could be contacted while the bells in other offices could be kept from ringing. It was used during the 1920 and 1930's.
