- Description
- Wooden pie crimper donated in a cardboard box. Crimper is made from a small wooden dowel tapered near the end and flaring out aging. A plastic crimping wheel is nailed into a split at the top. The crimping wheel is round with fan-like crimps in it. There is a cardboard box in two parts with a rectangular bottom and rectangular top. There is a folded sheet of paper with printing which gives directions on uses for the jagging wheel. Dimensions: (b)bottom of box--L-14.7cm. W-5cm. Ht.-2.5cm. (c)top of box--L-15.2cm. W-5.5cm. Ht.-2.2cm. (d)paper directions--L-9cm. W-4.6cm.

- Wooden jagging wheel used for crimping the edges of pie crusts. Apparently this crimped was found in the Lawson House, Lawson Rd. Telkwa by Blanch (Rotschy) Campbell. Jagging wheels such as this one can be found in the 1902 Sears Catalogue, p. 517.
