- Long continuous metal bar with the last 1/3rd of each end bent downward. Both ends are wedge shaped.
- History Of Use
- These 'dogs' were used to secure logs that were being worked on and to hold booms of logs together temporarily until the boom could be secured with chains. The ends of the iron bars are wedge shaped so they could be driven into the log. This particular dog definitely looks homemade as were most tools in those times. These are not used today.
