- History Of Use
- Ernest Hann 1898 - 1982. For more info see Historical Research file: Hann,Ernest/Addie. A carpenters tool chest often had more than 20 molding planes. This design came in sets of 8 ranging from 1/8 " to 1". This type of plane can create every shape imaginable, either by itself or in combination with other planes. The strip between the wall and ceiling was the identification of a fine room as well as the mark of the craftsman.
