Description
A small, apparently handmade, rectangular metal rack formed of a sheet of copper. The metal has been folded and soldered at the corners creating sides approximately 3.5 cm. high. An arched, heavy wire handle is attached at each end and copper wire has been woven through the top edges to create 24 small (approx. 4.0 cm.) square compartments within the rack. It is designed to hold up to 24 small milk testing bottles. Five holes, forming a 'cross' shape, have been punched through the bottom of the rack at the center. (b)There is a flat piece of copper sheeting with narrow, folded, flattened edges and soldered at the corners that is place below the rack. It has 24 small (2.0 cm. diam.) holes punched in it. The round holes are all the same size and spaced equal distances apart. Dimensions: l-22.2 cm. w-15.3 cm., depth 0.3 cm.
