Description
a) A tall, cylindrical cardboard container with metal bottom and metal push-on lid. The paper wrapper is blue, white, and gold. The blue banners overlay the other colors, with 'NEILSON'S COCOA' in white print, 'JERSEY BRAND' in gold print, at top front. 'THE ALL PURPOSE CHOCOLATE COCOA' in white print is across the bottom front. 'PROCESSED WITH ALKALI' in gold print and 'ONE POUND NET' in blue print beneath the blue banner at the bottom front. The back of the wrapper has 'PROVEN RECIPES' in English and French overlaying drawings of cocoa, cake and fudge at the center back. 'William Neilson Limited - Toronto, Canada' is at the bottom back. The bottom of the tin has a small oval imprint at the center with '9505' embossed inside it. b) A small metal push on lid. Embossed on the top of the lid is "Neilson's JERSEY COCOA MAKERS OF THE FAMOUS JERSEY MILK CHOCOLATE ONE POUND NET".
