- A soft brown leather collar bag with a small pocket on the side. A double piece of cord tied and secured with two leather tassles at each end forms a drawstring closure for the bag. The inside is lined with cotton and the bottom is stiff - probably with cardboard sandwiched in between the leather and cotton lining.
Inside are four, 12cm high stiff linen collars 28.5cm; Marked STANHOPE 101/2 W.B Norburn74 Tottrnham Court Rd. The date 1951 has been written on in ink.
