- Description
- Metal iron with circular diamond shaped base. On top of base is a blue metal circular diamond shaped section. On top of blue section is a circular diamond shaped metal section. Attached to metal section is a metal handle with a blue metal handle grasp. Attached at back of iron is a tubular section with an attached black plastic knob that has the word 'CLOSE' and an arrow stamped on it. Attached to the tubular section is a metal ball with a screw-on top.

- History Of Use
- Steam iron used for ironing clothes. Model 4-A made by Coleman Lamp & Stove Co. Ltd. Toronto, Canada. A gasoline burner iron such as this one was sold by Coleman Lamp & Stove Co. in 1940. Apparently, liquid fuel irons such as this one were popular in rural homes where there was no electricity.
