- a) A green rectangular camera two viewfinders on the front. Has a switch that turns counter clockwise. Written beside it is 'No. 116 Use 'KODAK' FILM', with two arrows beside the lettering. The camera has a leather strap connected on top for carrying. On the strap it reads 'BROWNIE'. A metal clasp releases the back flap. On the inside of the flap reads "No. 2a Brownie Model C" with the patent numbers listed.
b) A black rectangular case for the camera with a black fabric strap. The lid of the case is attached to the front with a metal clasp. The back of the lid has come unattached from the rest of thecase.

- No. 2A Brownie Camera Model Co. Made by Canadian Kodak Co. Limited Toronto Canada. The first brownie was marketed in 1900. It was priced at $1 and used film which sold for 15 cents a roll. For the first time, the hobby of photography was within the financial reach of almost everyone.
