History Of Use
Used by donor's daughter in Smithers circa late 1980s or early 1990s.
Cultural Context
Brownies are the section of the Girl Guides organization for girls aged about 7-10 years old. The Brownie organization was founded in 1914, and a chapter has been present in Smithers since at least 1924 (first mention in the Interior News is from December of that year)
