Description
Cream coloured knit christening gown with sleeves. Blue ribbon across the front chest to tie it closed at the back.
History Of Use
According to the donor the gown was made by her paternal grandmother Barbara Evitt. Barbara and Arthur Evitt had a son named Leonard Evitt who married Winnifred Grant in Smithers in 1942, and the donor was born in 1944. The family left Smithers around 1945.
