b: A cardboard box with red lettering and the wrapper details on the side. This box identifies the manufacturer of the wrappers as Appleford and notes where it is being shipped to along with with a copy of the main insignia on the outside. (see inscriptions). A large 'X' is put on the outside faces of the box.
- Narrative
- Paul's Bakery was opened by Dutch immigrant Paul Sikkes in 1956 and has remained in his family ever since. Bread-wrappers such as this were mass-produced on long rolls and cut into pieces to wrap individual loaves.
