History Of Use
Metal egg candler. According to Mr. Cornelius Bot, who sold approx. 3500 eggs\week in the Bulkley Valley from 1962-1972, an egg was placed on the rubberized lens portion and a candle light placed under the egg in the tube. The illuminated egg was checked for dark spots to indicate a growing embryo.
