- a) A folder in the shape of a totem pole in shades of brown and red with green and white accents. On the front is the BC crest with "1858-1958 CENTENARY" written in red lettering. The inside of the folder is white and red with the words "Welcome to British Columbia's Centennial Celebrations" written across the folded bottom. On the back is the same picture of the totem pole.
b) A rectangular postcard with pictures of snowcapped mountains and totem poles across the front. The BC centennial crest and the title "Come to British Columbia's Centennial Celebrations in 1958" are also on the front. On the back is the title "POST CARD", a space for the stamp, and a brown patch of paper that has been torn from a scrapbook page. On each corner are leftover pieces of tape and residue from the tape.
c) A rectangular postcard with small pictures of a 1900's couple, the Parliament Buildings in Victoria B.C., Old Fort Langley B.C., and Malkin Memorial Bowl, Vancouver B.C. In the centre is the BC centennial crest and on the top and bottom are the words "British Columbia Centennial Celebrations 1958". On the back is the title "POST CARD", a space for the stamp, and a brown patch of paper that has been torn from a scrapbook page. On each corner are leftover pieces of tape and residue from the tape.
d) A rectangular postcard with a picture of a woman on the front holding a fishing net with the BC centennial mascot "Century Sam" in the net. Speech bubbles above them say "All caught up by a beautiful party" and "You're invited to join us". In a square text box is "British Columbia's 100th Birthday Party 1858-1958 'A Century to Celebrate". On the back is the title "POST CARD", a space for the stamp, and a brown patch of paper that has been torn from a scrapbook page. On each corner are leftover pieces of tape and residue from the tape.
e) A booklet titled "A Guide to Community Organization of the B.C. Centennial Celebrations". On the front is a picture of Century Sam with a pickaxe and a donkey following a yellow trail through a forest. The books was published by the British Columbia Centennial Committee. The back of the booklet is yellow with a white space to write our name, street, city, and phone number with a small picture of Century Sam and the caption "All Together, Now.. Let's go!"
f) A booklet with a picture of a couple looking over a valley. In one corner is a picture of a horse and carriage. The booklet is titled "Alluring British Columbia: celebrating the first 100 years" and was made courtesy of the BC Centennial Committee - Victoria B.C. In the centre is the title "British Columbia - Land of Romance" and various pictures of BC and lengthy descriptions. On each corner are leftover pieces of tape and residue from the tape.
g) A poster with a list of the BC Centennial Celebrations with various pictures of totem poles, Century sam, and the BC centennial crest. The list includes masquerades, rodes, folk dances, pioneer feasts and barbacues, gold rush jamorees, street dances, fishing derbies, water sports, winter sports, highland games, races and more.
h) A poster inviting people to attend the celebrations for BC's 100th Birthday Party. Around the edges is a floral border with small pictures of BC. Written in the middle is "Greetings, You are requested to attend British Columbia's 100th Birthday Party" with more details below.
