- History Of Use
- Bucksaws were used to 'buck' logs or saw logs into lengths so that the lengths could then be split with an axe if needed. Buck saws such as this one are seen in 1908 Sears Catalogue. Buck saws were probably used on farms throughout the early 1900s.
