A metal kerosene burner. The bottom section is the kerosene container, with a burner extending from center upward. The stove has three metal stands that extend upward just above burner with a metal pot holder on the top. The holder consists of two metal rings attached with six strips of metal.

On the pot holder section on the rings is "PRIMUS PATENT NO 38057" repeated three times. On the top of the kerosene container is "PRIMUS NO 15 MADE IN SWEDEN TRADE MARK PRI - MUS". On the side of the container is "A/B B.A. HJORTH & Co. STOCKHOLM SWEDEN SOLE MAKERS OF THE GENIUNE PRIMUS APPARATUS".This inscription has been copied in many different languages.
