- Description
- A black rubber gas mask. The rear of the mask has six grey elasticized straps which are joined to a piece of rubber. The eye holes are two round pieces of glass bordered with a metal frame and embedded into the rubber. The mouthpiece of the mask is a round piece of metal with nine holes in the centre. On the right side of the mask is another round piece of metal where a filter would screw on to the main mask.

- On the left side of the mask are the words "NORMAL V.M.C.". Embossed on the mouth piece is the inscription "G.S.W. 1945". On the piece of rubber at the back of the mask is "No. 4" and some other indeterminable letters and numbers.
