Description
A panama / boater style interwoven straw hat with a purple satin ribbon attached around the top just above the brim. Printed on the ribbon, in gold is 'SMITHERS ROTARY CLUB'. 'R-T Collison' is printed inside on the head band. Crest maker's mark inside with "Best Quality / New Style" printed inside.

History Of Use
This Rotary Club hat belonged to Reginald John Collison, who came to Smithers in 1928. It was made and used sometime after the establishment of the Smithers Rotary Club in late 1951.
