- Description
- Post office mail boxes all connected. The frame around the outside is wooden with a panel of metal doors on the front. The doors are black with gold color border. In the middle of the door is a glass panel with a decaled number. The glass is bordered in a gold colour. Above the glass is a keyhole that is centrally located. Each door is double hinged except for the 6 boxes at the bottom which are drawers. There are 81 of these mail boxes of different sizes. The first 63 boxes are 9 x 13.5cm with a 5.5 x 5.5cm glass panel. The first box on the top left-hand corner has its door missing. The next twelve boxes are 14 x 13.5cm with a 9.5 x 4cm glass panel. These boxes have the same features as the first ones. One of the doors on these boxes is missing. The 6 boxes at the bottom are 28 x 13.2cm drawers. On these drawers is the same features as the other boxes except these have handles instead of hinges. The handles are arched and located in the middle of the drawer. On both sides of the handle is a 5.5 x 5.5cm glass panel with decaled numbers. Above the handle is a round keyhole. Inside each box ,except for the drawers, is a metal shelf with a circular hole in it. On the left side of the wooden frame, near the top is "SOUTH HAZELTON" in black hand printing.
