Description: Small, upright, cylindrical cardboard container with pull-off lid. Container is full and contains original contents. The container is wrapped with paper from top to bottom. The top of the wrapper has been sliced so that the lid may be removed. The top and bottom of the container are dark blue stained. There is a wide, dark blue band around the top (with narrow stained-brown bands above) and at the bottom, a white and blue band with "REXALL" multi-printed for design. The front reads "PURETEST" (in script) and "SULPHUR" FLOWERS OF SULPHUR B.P." "UNITED DRUG CO., LIMITED, TORONTO, CANADA" is in white print on a dark blue banner on front and back. The center front has a "GUARANTEE" set in a white oval with a dark blue border, featuring the "REXALL DRUG STORE" (in script). The back has information for use in English and French. At the top is "2 OUNCES" "UC 2392", and near the bottom is a tiny blue stamp "073-3762". b) Round, dark blue cardboard lid. DIAM. 5.2CM H 1.2 CM

History Of Use: Box of purest sulphur made by 'UNITED DRUG CO. LIMITED, TORONTO, CANADA'. Contents used internally and externally for ailments such as Constipation, Skin Infections, and Rheumatish. Apparently, it could also have been used for disinfecting or fumigating a room.
