Description
Light-colored, rectangular wooden box with cloth-hinged lid. Top is stamped with 'Milligan's Arabela HABANA' in black lettering enclosing design also encircled in black. The edges of the box have a brown and cream paper border with design and 'Arabela' in sequence. There is a paper label at the center with a yellow rose above and below a center banner 'ARABELA' in red. A tax stamp on the left corner reads 'Number 4193582 - Series of 1922'. 'Arabela' is stamped on front and side in black; other side has paper label of a woman sitting on a rock with 'Arabela' in red lettering on a white banner. The inside has a brown paper lining in the box, while the lid has a picture of the woman on the rock holding a tobacco leaf, with '5 cents' and 'MANUFACTURED BY GENERAL CIGAR COMPANY'. Inside of the box back edge has 'IMPERIAL TOBACCO CO. OF CANADA, LIMITED. SOLE DISTRIBUT---(?).
