a) A rectangular metal box with a black outside and a yellow inside. In the centre of the lid in gold lettering is "Elastoplast TRADE MARK DOCTORS SET CONTENTS - 105 ASSORTED ELASOPLAST DRESSINGS 7 1 YD. ELASTOPLAST PLASTER". Above this is in a gold banner is the medical ingredients in the bandages. On the bottom in a gold banner is "MADE IN ENGLAND BY T. J. SMITH 7 NEPHEW LTD. HULL". On the inside of the lid in black lettering is a description of the dressings including their dimensions and how to refill them. Below this is "The companion for this set is the surgery case containing dressing strips. Refills of any or all items can be obtained from your usual surgical supply house. Complete refill order no. r.455". b) 22 Large bandages in a white and red package. Repeated across each package is "Elastoplast Smith & Nephew Ltd./Ltee Lachine, Que. STERILIZED ADHESIVE WOUND DRESSING". There is also a picture of a bandage with "5cm x 7.5cm" across it and some writing in French. c) 10 medium bandages in a white and red package. Repeated across each package is "Elastoplast Smith & Nephew Ltd./Ltee Lachine, Que. STERILIZED ADHESIVE WOUND DRESSING". There is also a picture of a bandage with "3cmcross it and some writing in French. d) 26 medium brown bandages not in packages. Across the back are two white slips of paper that are taken off to attach the bandage. Printed repeatedly on these slips is "Elastoplast". e) 22 small bandages in red and white packages. Repeated across each package is "Elastoplast Smith & Nephew Ltd./Ltee Lachine, Que. STERILIZED ADHESIVE WOUND DRESSING". This is repeated in French. f) 5 small bandages without packages. Across the back are two white slips of paper that are taken off to attach the bandage. Printed repeatedly on these slips is "Elastoplast".
