- Glass bottle of Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription contained in a cardboard box. Bottle is rectangular with a pink, white, and black label on the front. Label lists directions for use and a list of symptoms that would necessitate a person to take the contents. Stamped in glass on side of bottle is 'R. V. Pierce, M. D.'. Stamped in glass on other side of bottle is 'Buffalo, N. Y.'. Stamped in glass on bottom of bottle is '84 A P 3'. There is a black and white folded advertisement stuck to the back of the bottle. There is a black screw-on lid on top. The white cardboard box is covered with red and blue printing extolling the benefits of contents and directions for use.
