Description
Iron cooking pot round in appearance. Bottom of pot is convex with three attached small iron legs. There is the number '9' stamped on the bottom of the pot. There are two attached pieces of metal at opposite sides near the top of the pot that have a hole in the middle to allow an iron ribbon-like handle to be threaded through.
History Of Use
Iron pot presumably used about the home to boil water, etc. Pots such as this one were advertised in the 1902 Sears Catalogue p.583
